Bibliobop 4/28/17

I had a really successful Bibliobop yesterday. There were about 90 people there! It was a lot of fun. Thank you, Tiffany and Charity, for helping me with planning/advice.

 Here's the outline I used:

Introduction: explain what we are doing today

This is the greatest storytime book. You can download the songs that go with the story from the Scholastic website. All the kids were singing along and shouting out the words by the end of the book.

I Can't Fly

My preschoolers LOVE doing this dance! 
Before I start the music, I go through all the animal 
movements so they will know what to expect. 
Fly - or try to anyway...
Jump like a kangaroo
Run like a zebra
Climb like a monkey
Swim like a fish
Crawl like a lizard
Eat like an elephant
And, DANCE like you've never danced before!
